About Us

The Retail Run was born in May 2025 out of a desire to modernize the retail industry with community, quality, and circularity.

Connor Zarou founded the retail run out of his parent's garage, and quickly developed the young business into a powerhouse on the WhatNot platform, amassing over 120k followers in their first 9 months. The Retail Run specializes in premium products for everyone. The current product categories are premium shoe/boot shows and lifestyle products, along with info-products which foster successful practices and skills to succeed in the live-sales space. The Retail Run is currently partnered with a variety of brands and organizations and we are committed to fostering long-term win/win relationships.

You might also be asking yourself what are live-sales and what does it mean for retail moving forward. The numbers right now in it's early stage are honestly nuts. In it's most rudimentary definition, Live-Shopping combines commerce with entertainment, generally meaning a live-stream. Whatnot, the leading live-sales platform, users spend an average of 95 minutes per day watching live streams (Netflix avg is 120 mins per day - WhatNot is easily dominating the attention economy). Numbers haven't lied either, the live shopping market hit $22 billion across North America and Europe, with WhatNot holding nearly 60% market share. (don't look now but experts are projecting the market share to grow to 600B by 2030). Customer retention (80% MoM) and community fostered are all aspects lacking in the b2c marketplace in the USA, and we're looking to change the course of the retail tides back to the thing's that matter.
